VAR and services provider CDW Corporation has announced a big growth year in its annual results, covering the US, the UK and Canada, with sales up 12.7% to $20.8 billion for the 12 months to December 31, 2021.
Total net sales in the fourth quarter went up 11.7% year-on-year to $5.54 billion, which included $197m of sales from the acquisition of US company Sirius Computer Solutions, which closed on December 1, 2021.
Quarterly Sales for CDW's UK and Canadian operations combined were $699m - 19.5% higher than 2020. Annual sales for the UK and Canadian units totalled $2.59bn, up 24%.
The total group operating income in the quarter was $339m, representing an increase of 2.1%.
Net income was $215m, representing a decrease of 9.7%, partly as a result of a higher tax rate when compared to last time.
The total annual group operating profit was $1.4 billion – up 20.3%, and the annual net profit was $989m, representing a 25.4% jump.
