Sage works with partners on larger enterprise models

Aiming at building cloud business aroung business management

Sage, which is looking to carve out more of the cloud accounting market, has signed new partnerships in the enterprise space focusing on its X3 business management product.

The three new agreements show how Sage is aiming at the larger customers through X3’s scalability within a business management solution, on core business processes such as purchasing, manufacturing, inventory, sales, customer service, and financial management.

The relaunch of its partner program and strategic alliances with global reach through partnerships such as Microsoft, Salesforce and Apple has created significant channel momentum, it says.

Notably, these new partnerships include agreements with:

· CLOUT to work closely with Sage the systems implementer delivers aspects of the Fairsail HR Management System on behalf of its customers. This decision follows the announcement of a strategic alliance between Fairsail and Sage in 2016.

· Atlas Cloud to work with Sage’s sales and pre-sales teams to host Sage X3 in the cloud, giving customers the choice of either a public or private cloud implementation; those in the partner community will also be able to access standardised cloud options. The Managed Service Provider will use its experience of complex cloud integration project.

· BrightBridge and its leadership team is extending their existing relationship with Sage, which spans three decades, to build a dedicated Sage X3 practice within its sales team. BrightBridge has a particular focus on the manufacturing, professional services and warehouse/distribution verticals.

David Watts, Sage UK & Ireland Vice President for Enterprise, said: “Over the last 12 months, we’ve really underlined our commitment to working with larger enterprises and embracing smart partnerships that contribute to making our X3 business management solution more beneficial and appealing to enterprise businesses. It’s great that the initiatives we’ve put in place have proven successful in supporting such significant new relationships - CLOUT, Atlas Cloud and BrightBridge each have a wealth of enterprise experience along with services, features and deployment options that will complement Sage’s own offering in order to give all types of enterprises the best possible experience of working with us from the outset.”

“They, along with the many other new partners that we’ve welcomed over the past few months, will play an essential role in continuing to support our customers to realise growth ambitions and effectiveness as they grow with Sage, well as helping customers new to Sage who want to benefit from an enterprise-class business management solution with quick, effective and efficient implementation of core business processes.”
