ALSO has announced a Workplace-as-a-Service concept with its partner network across Europe. The aims to be a one-stop solution for small- and medium-sized businesses with IT needs: bringing hardware, software, licenses, services, financing and support integrated into a single package. The WaaS offers scalable, flexible, and simplified IT for SMBs, with a transparent monthly price on one invoice, all managed within the ALSO Cloud Marketplace, it says.
“We want to provide a world-class experience and new business opportunities to our partner network. With WaaS, our partners are enabled to provide a secure and easily scalable solution to their customers. This allows them to focus on their customer relationships and core business – not on tedious back office tasks. All services are at the partner’s fingertips as an on-demand solution,” says Niko Peltoranta, Head of Consumption Business Europe at ALSO.
WaaS offers a range of ALSO’s physical and digital warehouse catalogues, including support. The ALSO Cloud Marketplace provides the platform and automation, which essentially covers ordering, invoicing, as well as asset, life-cycle, and license management.
WaaS will be available in all 15 ALSO countries by the end of 2016, with the first deliveries having been made in Germany already. Finland, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands and France will soon have their own WaaS package.
