Zendesk acquires HyperArc to boost intelligent customer service

Customer service technology provider Zendesk is boosting its AI powers with the acquisition of HyperArc, an AI-native analytics platform.

The capture is said to mark a “major step forward” in Zendesk's analytics roadmap, positioning the company at the forefront of AI-driven customer intelligence, the firm said.

By integrating HyperArc's AI-native technology, Zendesk aims to create a unified analytics platform that builds on the foundation established by its Explore technology, while introducing next-generation, GenAI-powered insights.

“Customers can look forward to a seamless evolution in reporting, with immediate enhancements available soon, and a clear path to even more powerful analytics in the coming months,” Zendesk promised.

“This acquisition will help Zendesk customers benefit from new GenAI-powered insights and automations," said Shashi Upadhyay, president for product, engineering and AI at Zendesk. "HyperArc's world-class team and pioneering HyperGraph technology unlock self-service insights and rapid innovation, empowering our users to make smarter decisions, faster.”

Zuye Zheng, co-founder and CTO of HyperArc, added: “Our mission has been to turn AI into a true analytical partner, one that learns from your best analysts and delivers value at every step. Joining Zendesk means we can bring these next-generation, real-time insights to hundreds of thousands of organisations worldwide, unlocking a new era of customer intelligence.”
