Tomota to lead Sharp Europe's growth

Joe (Yoichi) Tomota has been promoted to President by Sharp Europe to boost growth and innovation.

Having previously served as VP at Sharp, Tomota (pictured) will now guide the IT Services division and lead the Document Solutions, Display, and Solar businesses.

He will also focus on aligning the company's operations with its environmental objectives. 

Tomota said: “A priority of mine is to continue to extend and expand this in existing and new European markets. Alongside accelerating innovation, we need to do what we can to protect the environment and ensuring Sharp Europe takes responsibility for this is another of my key priorities.”
