Software services firm STX Next has appointed Markus Tautz as DACH region managing director. Tautz is already driving the company’s growth in the region through the onboarding of Swiss company Squirro.
Squirro is a firm that links and analyses data to provide new insights as a basis for decision-making. The partnership is said to underline Poland-headquartered STX Next’s sector-specific focus on AI and data engineering in the DACH region, and the company’s ambitions to grow in this area on a global scale.
Tautz previously worked for four years as an account director for software and development sales at Objectivity.
Tautz said: “I have the opportunity to raise STX Next’s profile in the DACH region, and early success with Squirro is already accelerating our expansion plans.”
He added: “What really drew me to the company was its emphasis on working closely with enterprise clients to deliver high-end bespoke software solutions that fit their needs. I hope to showcase to firms across the region how we can help them optimise costs, create new revenue streams and become more efficient businesses overall.”
