Netcom Training has secured a £3.8m yearly contract for three years with the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) to introduce new regional courses.
This is in addition to the £8.5m funding Netcom recently received from the WMCA to educate citizens across 18 local areas.
With the added funds, Netcom will launch a Digital Accountancy programme and a Chartered Institute of Marketing-backed diploma.
Kevin Vashi, Director of Netcom Training, said; “Our latest contract win allows us to double down on our commitment to the West Midlands.”
Clare Hatton, the WMCA’s Interim Director for Employment, Skills, Health and Communities, added: ‘The training gives local people the ability to take advantage of the high-quality jobs on offer across the region in this important sector and help support our growing economy.”
