Jobs Board 9 January: Big channel players make key hires

Cybersecurity solutions provider BeyondTrust has named Jim Ortbals as its senior vice president of global partner ecosystems.

He has over 25 years of channel leadership experience, serving at the likes of Cisco, VMware, Zscaler and Deep Instinct.

-Digital employee experience firm ControlUp has announced that Beau Dolinsky has been appointed as vice president of customer experience. Dolinsky has previously held senior roles at Zoom and Citrix.

-Global channel services provider, Agilitas IT Solutions has appointed Kirsty Walker as chief financial officer.

With over 25 years of experience, she joins Agilitas from Wincanton, where she was senior commercial finance manager. She also previously held roles at Exel Logistics and DHL Logistics.

-Precisely, the data integrity firm, has announced the promotion of Eric Willcox to chief revenue officer (CRO). He will oversee the company’s go-to-market strategy, sales performance, client satisfaction, and overall operations of the global sales, channel partner, and customer success organisations.

-LG Business Solutions has appointed David Jackson as UK head of IT solutions sales. Jackson will lead the UK sales team across consumer and B2B IT solutions, in a wide-ranging role that covers monitors, laptops, cloud, and medical displays. He joins the senior leadership team, reporting directly to Charles Choi, the LGE UK president.

He brings extensive retail experience to the team, having previously been senior buyer at both Argos and Currys; and in B2B, where he has previously held roles as EMEA product manager at Epson, and head of product management and marketing, professional displays at Samsung UK.

-Google Cloud has named Maureen Costello as vice president, UK and Ireland and Sub-Saharan Africa. She will oversee the company's sales strategy and operations across both regions.

She brings nearly three decades of industry experience to Google Cloud, having previously served as corporate vice president for industry solutions delivery at Microsoft. Prior to her role at Microsoft, she held several leadership positions during her 25-year tenure at Accenture, including senior managing director and resources lead for UKI.

-Verne, the provider of sustainably powered HPC data centres across the Nordics, has announced the appointment of Michele Tagliatti as its chief financial officer.

Before joining Verne, Tagliatti was at Liquid Intelligent Technologies, where he held several senior leadership roles, including deputy group chief financial officer and group CFO of its data centre business unit.

-ERP software provider Unit4 has announced that Simon Paris has been appointed chief executive officer, succeeding Mike Ettling, who will hand over the reins at the end of January.

Ettling has led Unit4 for almost six years, guiding the company through significant growth, and its transition to recurring revenue.

Paris has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry, including leadership positions with Infor and SAP. He most recently served as CEO at Finastra, a global provider of financial services software applications.

-Aryaka, a unified SASE as-a-service specialist, has promoted Vidyaranya Maddi to chief customer officer, and hired Scott Fanning, formerly of Palo Alto Networks, as VP of security product management.
