Customer experience platform 8x8 has named Maxine Eunson as its head of public sector UK.

“There’s a lot happening in the public sector at the moment and organisations need to know they have people they can trust to help deliver solutions,” said Eunson. “You have continually increasing demands from citizens and stakeholders, and the rise of AI and omnichannel experiences, all against a backdrop of tight budgets and the looming January 2027 PSTN switch off. Eunson has spent the last four years at 8x8, and prior to that worked at Gamma, BT, NEC, and others.

-WSO2, a player in open-source API management, integration and identity solutions, has announced the appointment of Richard Evans as UK and Ireland country manager.

Before joining WSO2, he held senior leadership roles at companies such as Red Hat, where led teams in delivering integration, API management, and enterprise architecture solutions to clients in the public and private sectors.

He was responsible for building a new retail vertical business in the UK for Red Hat, working with software vendors, system integrators and customers.

-Pendo, a software experience management platform provider, says Paul Turner is stepping up as regional managing director, EMEA, following a year of 40% ARR growth in the region.

Pendo recently unveiled Agent Analytics and released its first AI agent, alongside more than a dozen product enhancements.

Turner previously held senior sales roles at Modulr, HackerOne, and Medallia.

-Symatrix, recently acquired by IBM, and a provider of Oracle HCM, ERP, and Payroll Cloud solutions, has appointed Stacey Thorpe as its new managed payroll director.

With more than two decades of experience in payroll operations, HR transformation, and strategic project delivery, Thorpe brings a wealth of expertise to the role. Her career spans senior leadership positions in both in-house and outsourced payroll environments, equipping her with a comprehensive understanding of client needs, compliance requirements, and operational excellence, said Symatrix.

Most recently, Thorpe served as director of workforce and payroll operations at global talent solutions provider Oliver James, where she led international payroll and HR services, driving efficiency, scalability, and regulatory compliance across multiple regions.

-Legal technology solutions provider Litera has brought in Anthee Merichovitis as chief business transformation and operations officer.

Anthee brings nearly two decades of experience scaling private equity-backed SaaS companies through periods of high growth, change, and complexity.

Most recently, she served as chief strategy and transformation officer at Kyriba (backed by Bridgepoint and General Atlantic), where she led the company’s entire value creation agenda, achieving significant improvements in both growth and profitability and helping position the business for its next chapter. Prior to Kyriba, she held various global roles at Sitecore (EQT-backed), where she played a role in designing the growth of the business by spearheading strategic initiatives across international markets.

-SYNAXON has added to its UK team with the appointment of Samuel Chatterton as account manager. Chatterton brings four years of experience working in account management and support roles within the distribution and ICT sector to SYNAXON.

He will be responsible for identifying and engaging with potential new partners and enticing more reseller businesses to make use of the SYNAXON Hub distribution service, and the SYNAXON Marketplace portal to access stock and availability information, and place orders.

-Verne, a provider of sustainably-powered AI-ready data centres across the Nordics, and the UK, has named Fabio Braz as head of corporate development.

In the newly created position, Braz will report directly to the CEO and play a key role in supporting him and the board as they shape Verne’s long-term strategy. His responsibilities include M&A, key transaction support and working across teams to unlock new growth opportunities, while upholding the company’s commitment to renewable energy, advanced technologies, and responsible innovation.

After an early career in commercial law and in-house roles in the mining and telecoms sectors, Braz spent eight years with Liquid Intelligent Technologies, a pan-African digital infrastructure and services company, where he served as chief of staff to the CEO and group deputy chairman, and was involved in corporate development initiatives across multiple markets.

-With digital transformation, cloud migration and hybrid working fuelling a revolution in print, PaperCut has further bolstered its internal resources, appointing two print industry experts to a newly created role.

Ian Dixon and Alexander Rollo join PaperCut as technical success managers. They will focus on growing PaperCut’s portfolio across its channel, partners and teams, as well as being responsible for guiding customers and partners to help them select the most appropriate solution and service for their evolving print environment. They will report into PaperCut’s regional partner enablement stream lead.

Dixon joins PaperCut from Tungsten Automation, where he was regional sales manager, and Rollo arrives from Aurora, where he was a pre-sales technical consultant.

-Arc has welcomed Elly Kirby as head of strategic accounts, leading a team of account managers and directors to work closely with key clients to ensure their evolving needs are met and exceeded.

With 18 years of experience in the IT industry, Kirby has a strong track record in building and nurturing long-term client relationships.

Arc supports over 600 businesses, including services around desktop support, hybrid cloud, data centre hosting, SharePoint, Power Platform, AI, and Purview.

-Cybersecurity and compliance firm Proofpoint has appointed Tom Corn as executive vice president and general manager of its threat protection business.

He brings over 20 years of leadership experience in cloud, infrastructure, and platform security to Proofpoint. He will be responsible for driving Proofpoint’s threat protection strategy, product innovation, and go-to-market execution.

Prior to joining Proofpoint, Corn co-founded a startup focused on securing agentic-AI applications. He previously served as chief product officer at Ontinue, where he helped shape the company’s AI-driven approach to managed extended detection and response (MXDR). He also held senior leadership positions at VMware and RSA, where he led major initiatives in cloud, endpoint, network, identity and data security product development.

-Tax Systems, the global multi-tax compliance SaaS provider, has brought in Sanj Juneja as global strategic partners and alliances director. The newly created role reflects the company’s long-term strategy to “become EMEA’s leading tax compliance SaaS platform”, backed by a “high-impact partner ecosystem” to drive growth, scale delivery and support international expansion.

Juneja joins Tax Systems with over two decades of experience building and leading partner programmes at software and technology companies, including Thomson Reuters and Hitachi. His core responsibilities will include qualifying, onboarding and activating a core set of go-to-market partners across key territories, including the UK, Europe, the UAE, and the US.

-Alteryx, the AI and data analytics company, has hired Michelle Huff as chief marketing officer to help amplify its Alteryx One unified platform.

Prior to joining Alteryx, Huff served as CMO at UserTesting, where she was instrumental in the company’s growth journey, from early-stage startup through to IPO, acquisition, and merger, while significantly strengthening customer engagement and advocacy. She was also CMO at Act-On Software, and previously held senior marketing and product leadership positions at Salesforce and Oracle, with a focus on data management.

-ClearScale, an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner, has named Matthew Stoyka as chief executive officer. Jimmy Chui, ClearScale’s current CEO, will assume the newly created role of chief client officer.

Stoyka is a seasoned leader with a track record across startups, high-growth firms, private equity-backed companies, and publicly traded enterprises.

Since founding, scaling, and selling his technology services business he has been involved in investing in and advising several other technology services businesses and private equity-backed companies.

Stoyka said: “It's a privilege to continue ClearScale's proud legacy as a valued strategic advisor to clients and a trusted AWS Premier Tier Services Partner. I look forward to meeting with our clients and many partners in the coming weeks to define our path for accelerated growth.”
