Jobs Board 24 January: Big channel players make key hires

Digital trust player DigiCert has named Paul Holt as EMEA group vice president, and James Cook as APAC group vice president. Holt and Cook will lead their respective teams in driving customer engagement, building partnerships, and executing DigiCert’s growth strategy.

"With growing awareness on the importance of trust and resilience, Paul and James bring the extensive sales leadership experience and proven ability to drive growth across the EMEA and APAC regions."

Holt joins DigiCert from Venafi, where he served as vice president of sales, covering both the EMEA and APAC markets. With decades of experience, Holt has also held senior leadership positions at Anchore and VeriSign, where he led sales strategy in security services.

Cook brings deep expertise in sales leadership across the APAC region, having served as vice president of sales for APAC at Entrust, and as regional sales director for Australia and New Zealand. Before Entrust, Cook spent more than a decade at Thales eSecurity, where he held various leadership roles across the UK and India.

-Intelliworx, the global managed services and cloud solutions provider, has appointed Jeremy Mumford as its chief revenue officer to help drive the company’s global expansion.

The move is in response to the company’s rapid growth throughout 2024 and the increasing focus mid-market businesses are placing on data integrity and their cybersecurity postures.

Mumford will report directly to managing director Shane Maher. Based in London, Mumford’s primary responsibilities will include growing Intelliworx’s business in the UK and further developing Intelliworx’s data integrity offering.

A veteran of the UK technology industry with almost 30 years’ experience in the sector, Mumford joins Intelliworx from software-as-a-service backup provider Keepit, where he was vice president for the UK & Ireland. Prior to his role at Keepit, Mumford spent six years leading the sales division at OnApp, and has also worked for Dell Technologies and Hewlett Packard during his near three-decade career so far.

-Nutanix has announced the appointment of Chris Pickerill as UK & Ireland channel director. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading Nutanix’s UK&I channel organisation and enhancing partner engagement, driving revenue initiatives, and supporting a robust channel ecosystem that results in strong selling capabilities for partners.

Additionally, he will play a key role in driving channel focused initiatives, such as the Nutanix Elevate Partner Program, which is centred on sales, technical and services certifications, and building partner competencies on Nutanix solutions.

Pickerill joins Nutanix from his position as North EMEA partner director at SentinelOne, where he ran the UK&I and Northern European channel, having previously led sales and channel teams at VMware, Splunk, and NetApp over the past 20 years.

-Abnormal Security, a specialist in AI-native human behaviour security, has named Lisa Banks as chief financial officer.

Abnormal helps protect more than 3,000 customers, including 20% of the Fortune 500, with a focus on protecting against sophisticated email attacks using AI.

Banks has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, and most recently served as CFO at SpotOn. Prior to SpotOn, she served as senior vice president of finance at ServiceNow. She has also held finance roles at Cisco, MarketWatch, and Ernst and Young.

-Fiserv, the global provider of payments and financial services technology, has appointed Michael Lyons as president and CEO-elect.

Lyons will report to Frank Bisignano, who will continue in his current roles as chairman and chief executive officer until 30 June, 2025, or upon an earlier confirmation by the US Senate as the commissioner, social security administration. Upon Bisignano’s departure, Lyons will become chief executive officer of Fiserv, and a member of the Fiserv board of directors, effective immediately.

With more than 30 years of industry experience, Lyons most recently served as president of The PNC Financial Services Group, where he led all of PNC’s lines of business.
