
ERP software provider Unit4 has appointed Jennifer Sherman as chief product officer, bringing over 25 years’ experience in the B2B technology industry.
She joins from CARET, a legal technology platform, where she served as chief operating officer. Previous roles include chief product and experience officer of NMI, a payments platform, as well as head of product management at Kibo, NAVEX Global and Aptean.
She began her career at Oracle in the ERP practice, where she held various product leadership positions for its supply chain management applications, and where she designed and released Oracle’s first warehouse management system, said Unit4.
-Verne, a provider of sustainable data centre solutions for high intensity computing, has announced the appointment of Sam Wicks as head of design and product development, further expanding the senior leadership team of the company.
Based in London, Wicks will lead the strategic design and execution of infrastructure programmes across the company’s expanding data centre portfolio.
-The US MSP, FNTS, has named John Downey as vice president of sales. In the role, Downey will lead the company’s long-term sales and business development strategy, driving growth across multi-cloud, mainframe, managed services, security and business resiliency offerings.
Downey is focused on creating innovative go-to-market strategies that accelerate business development, expand revenue opportunities and deliver technology solutions that address complex client challenges.
Downey brings more than 20 years of leadership experience from IBM, Kyndryl and Ensono, where he led high-performing sales and delivery teams in cloud, data centre and enterprise IT services.
-Data centre services firm Data4 has appointed Clara d’Orlando as group head of public affairs. Her role will be to support the company in defining and implementing a targeted influence strategy to strengthen Data4’s visibility and development.
With an investment plan announced during the AI Action Summit in Paris, Data4 reaffirmed its ambition to support the development of digital infrastructures dedicated to AI and cloud services in France. Clara d’Orlando will be responsible for representing the group’s strategic interests to public authorities and institutional stakeholders.
She previously held several positions within the public sector in the field of economic development, all focused on a common goal: attracting and supporting international companies in their investment projects in France, and contributing to the implementation of public policies aimed at enhancing economic attractiveness.
-Arc Systems Group has welcomed Anna Murphy as head of marketing. Overseeing marketing across the group, she will help drive the future direction of the brand and all related activity.
With over 16 years of marketing and communications experience, Murphy started out as a journalist working on national magazines and newspapers, before moving into marketing at a national MSP and software provider. Her most recent role was head of marketing at international digital marketing agency Hallam.
With over 140 staff across four UK locations, Arc supports over 600 businesses nationwide, with everything from desktop support to hybrid cloud, data centre hosting and IT strategy, through to public cloud (Azure), SharePoint, Power Apps, AI and Purview.
