Infovista has appointed 30-year industry veteran, Mike Kontowtt as vice president of its Ipanema SD-WAN channel business. Knotowtt’s primary role will be to turbocharge the Ipanema partner community for ‘aggressive’ growth and develop specific ‘go-to-market’ strategies for its core markets.
“Infovista is driving innovation in the SD-WAN space especially through the Ipanema platform’s recent introduction of a flexible, consumption-based licensing model,” said Kontowtt.
“This is just one example of how the Ipanema SD-WAN solution can enable channel partners to add value to their existing customers and prospects, [while] also giving them a key differentiator against their competitors. I’m looking forward to working with our current and new partners to expand the market potential,” he added.
Kontowtt has joined Infovista from Silver Peak, where he held a leadership role building its channel operation. He has previously worked for Symantec and UK-based value-added distributor, OpenPSL.
