Distributor Infinigate has added the UK and Ireland to its European coverage of SonicWall real-time breach detection and prevention cyber security solutions.
It extends an existing partnership between the two companies across nine other countries in Europe.
Murray Pearce, Managing Director of Infinigate UK, says SonicWall’s partnership approach fits with Infinigate’s own partner-centric strategy. “The increased investment that SonicWall has made in their products, roadmap and channel tools since becoming an independent company has accelerated its technology portfolio and capability in how it supports partners. It is an exciting time to be working with the SonicWall team,” explains Pearce.
Infinigate’s plans for growing SonicWall’s channel sales include a dedicated team of technical, sales and renewals to recruit and engage partners, and create additional demand for the products. “We’ve developed a best practice methodology for recruiting and engaging partners, which is our 3xCtm Partner Success Model. Our channel network is segmented so that we can create a clear value proposition that is targeted to the right partners. We can then take them on the journey from being Curious to Committed to Capable partners,” explains Pearce.
“We know from our research that SonicWall partners highly value strong technical support and services, so we have invested ahead to ensure we have really strong capability in this area,” adds Pearce.
Michael Berg, Executive Director of EMEA Sales at SonicWall says: “SonicWall has significant plans for growth in the UK and over the last 12 months we’ve seen a 147% increase worldwide in partners signing up to the SonicWall SecureFirst Partner Program. With our recent announcements we expect an increasing number of enterprise-focused partners to enroll in the program given the functionality and value we are bringing to new segments of the market.”
“We will achieve further growth through partnerships with leading companies, such as Infinigate, leveraging their established relationships with over 2,000-plus security and networking resellers,” adds Berg.
