Maximising opportunities in Cybersecurity

Tech Data identifies some leading ideas and changes as channels, especially service providers think about how they offer security and develop strategies both in the current crisis and in the longer term. It is finding that there are real opportunities as smaller enterprises find they cannot find the resources to cover areas such as security, remote working  and plan future IT strategies; they want to outsource this work to reliable partners. The opportunities include several that Tech Data has identified, especially where service providers think about how they offer security and develop strategies both in the current crisis and in the longer term. On top of that, they of course need to ensure that their own infrastructure is adequately protected.

Tech Data support for partners includes enabling partners to build and deliver solutions themselves (Practice Builder Programs, Academy business etc.) and can augment and support what the partners are doing if they want to outsource certain elements (during peak times or new areas). Although technologies and threats have evolved, it is well placed to help partners run risk assessments, build security policies then help with solutions and training to enforce those policies and build a cybersecurity practice.
